UNDER 6 - U10

$130.00 for each athlete aged 5 years to 9 years

UNDER 11 - U15

$140.00 for each athlete aged 10 to 14 years.

All athletes aged under 11 to Under 15 will be dual registered as a LAQ and ANQ member.

SENIORS

$100.00

Athletes Under 16 to Masters will be registered as an ANQ member.

Registrations will not be processed until proof of age (birth certificate/drivers licence/passport) for new members is provided.  Athletes will be unable to compete within the club competition until proof of age has been verified, in accordance with LAQ /ANQ rules.

Interested athletes (who are not previous members of an athletics club) have the option to “trial for two weeks” at a cost of $5.00 per session.  

 

Two weeks is considered a reasonable trial period.  After this period, a decision must be made whether to complete registration or not participate.

 

Results from trials will not be included in the Athlete’s performances for the year.

Results commence from the date of registration.

 

JUNIOR ATHLETES UNDER 6’S TO UNDER 15’S

 

The Club polo shirt has a red front and back with black mesh side panels, white sleeves and black collar with red and white stripes and is available for purchase from the Club.  The polo shirt is worn with plain black shorts or bike pants.  Please note shorts should not have any prominent brand names or logos of any description visible.

Hats are a necessary item as part of the club uniform and as part of our Club’s sun safe policy and can be purchased from the Club.

 

Tiny Tots can wear a plain red t-shirt with black shorts.

 

All registered athletes must only wear Club polos with current registration number (affixed to the front of the shirt) and age labels (affixed to the sleeve) at all Centre, Intercentre and Association run competitions.  

 

ATHLETES UNDER 16S TO MASTERS

 

The Club has developed a new singlet for the older athletes to incorporate the existing club colours.  A crop top and running shorts are also available for purchase.

Non marking flat soled shoes only on the track surface, except for authorised athletics spikes (7mm on the track surface.)  Enclosed shoes must be worn at all times for protection from injury from athletics equipment. Reef sandals and thongs are not acceptable.  

 

Once children reach Under 11 age group, they are able to wear spikes for track and field events.
