Welcome everyone we hope you are enjoying the season so far with us. We are into our sixth club day already and the weather has been very kind to us.
The coaching course at Smithfield was a big success for us as we managed to get 3 people to do the course, well done to those who participated and we hope to see you out in the field or on the track helping our athletes.

Nominations for Bendigo Bank games close on Thursday the 7th of May. This carnival is now open to all athletes you do not have to be a student. Nominations can be downloaded from our homepage.

***LEVEL C OFFICIALS COURSE***

The level C Course will be held in Tolga on 30th &31st of May, this course will be subsidized by the club. So if you are interested please advise someone in administration. This is a fantastic opportunity to become more involved in your child’s sport. Athletics is not a spectator sport and we could use all the help we can so why not give it some thought and become an official. You will then be able to officiate at all of the carnivals.

We would also like to congratulate Liam Spannenberg, who compete at the Australian Little Athletics Championships in Adelaide and came 4th in the javelin with a throw of 37.10. Well done Liam.
